I wanted to share some of my favorite Leavenworth engagement session locations with you because it’s easily one of the most requested spots for engagement sessions! I absolutely love Leavenworth, and we make time as a family to visit frequently throughout the year. Christmas in Leavenworth is the most magical with all the lights and snow, although fall is a close second because the colors in the trees just pop with all the fall yellows, reds and oranges. Regardless of the season, Leavenworth provides a stunning backdrop for engagement sessions, whether you stick to downtown, or go out along the river some or even up into the forest. If you’re looking for an engagement session location that shows off the natural beauty of the PNW, then Leavenworth is the place for you!

- Downtown Leavenworth
Downtown Leavenworth has such great character! All the buildings are Bavarian themed, which just adds to the charm. It’s so fun to walk around and check out all the little shops along main street. There’s a ton of great dining options too! Plus, you’re never far from a winery or brewery! I love when my couples want to incorporate downtown Leavenworth during their session. Lauren and Ben did just that, and we were able to snap a couple of adorable photos of them enjoying a beer downtown!
2. Waterfont Park
If you continue walking past the downtown shops just a couple blocks, you’ll get to Waterfront Park. I love shooting here because there’s a couple different paths that follow along the river where you can get some awesome views. It’s a pretty easy place to navigate, and there’s so many great photo spots throughout the park. I personally love how the entrance has a line of trees that just give off a romantic park feel.
3. Lake Wenatchee State Park
If you drive about a half hour past Leavenworth, you’ll find Lake Wenatchee State Park. I love Lake Wenatchee State Park for engagement sessions. It’s definitely worth the short drive from downtown! PS- to get to this open beach photo spot you will want to take Lake Wenatchee State Park South Campground exit and follow the directions from there.
4. Old Pipeline Trail
This trail is a just a few minutes from downtown Leavenworth and features a really cool bridge and more of the Wenatchee River. I love shooting here because you really get that PNW forest vibe. The trail itself isn’t long, and it’s an easy walk.
