I had the privilege of capturing Misa and Bridger’s Columbia River Washington temple wedding this past winter! It was a gorgeous day, despite it being a little (ok, a lot!) cold.
The Columbia River Washington temple in Richland is the 107th operating temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The grounds were beautiful and I imagine it must really be a site to see in the spring and summer when everything is in bloom! It has me excited for the Moses Lake temple, which is currently being built, to be finished. I’ll be looking forward to all the Moses Lake temple weddings to come!
Misa and Bridger walked out after their sealing to see all their family and closest friends. It was so sweet to see how excited everyone was for them! I loved getting to step back and watch all the hugs happen. I have to give major kudos to these two for braving the cold for family photos AND couple portraits. Although you could hardly tell how cold they were from the photos!
Ok, so I have to take a second to talk about one of my favorite details from the day, which was Misa’s gorgeous bridal bouquet. I just loved the pops of pinks against the green and white. Her bouquet was actually put together by her mom! I’m so in awe and wish I had the talent to arrange flowers. If I wasn’t a wedding photographer, I would actually love to be a florist.
One thing I like about the Columbia River Washington temple is its location! After your ceremony and photos at the temple, you can head to several nearby restaurants for your reception like Anthony’s at Columbia Point and Cedars at Pier One.
