Vantage is easily one of my favorite spots in Washington State! It’s a popular place to explore, with basalt columns, sagebrush and of course, epic views! Vantage is a great for hiking and rock climbing at what is called ‘The Feathers’ of Frenchman Coulee. I also love how close Vantage is to Cave B Winery in Quincy! While I love exploring this area on my own, it’s always such a treat to be able to photograph couples here. Vantage Washington wedding photos have been on my bucket list for a while, so I was so excited when Misa and Bridger decided to have their bridal session there.
Quick side note: Bridal sessions (or formal sessions) are great for couples who are getting married in LDS temples. Some benefits include getting to take photos at a location other than temple grounds, having more time for portraits and it’s also great for being able to have photos to display at your reception.
Even though they rode up together, Misa and Bridger were still able to pull off a traditional first look during their session because Bridger was blindfolded for the entire ride! It was so sweet to see his reaction to seeing Misa for the first time in her wedding dress. I can only imagine the anticipation he was feeling on their drive to meet me! I know I would never have been able to sit patiently!
We spent part of the afternoon at the Feathers before moving closer to the cliffside. I don’t know which setting I love more if I’m being honest.
