I had the opportunity to photograph Drew and Sean’s big day at Brown Family Homestead in Leavenworth this summer. It was my first time out at this wedding venue! Leavenworth is one of my all-time favorite places to photograph weddings and engagement sessions. So I’m always excited when I get to visit a new location or venue there.
Brown Family Homestead is about 2.5 hours from Seattle and 30 minutes from downtown Leavenworth. The venue itself is 15 private acres with plenty of trees and open meadows. The ceremony site is on a hill overlooking some of the grounds and it’s absolutely a beautiful view. I love that they even have accommodations for you and your family or wedding party to stay the night! The main house sleeps 8, with 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a cozy treehouse available too, which sleeps two, for a cozy glamping style vibe.
Fyi: current rental pricing starts at $5,450 + tax with optional add ons such as day of coordination, accommodations and bartending service.
When I asked Drew and Sean what they envisioned for their wedding, they told me their main goal was to have everyone they loved together for one big party! And looking back, they both said it was mission accomplished! Beautiful, whimsical, and fun- the perfect day according to Drew.
I loved some of their more personal touches- like a paint by numbers guest book using one of their photos from their engagement session. Another touch was coffee bean favors as a nod to how they met (the two met while working as baristas at the same coffee shop!). I really enjoy when couples choose to incorporate personal touches and details throughout their wedding day!
