Lake Wenatchee Leavenworth Engagement Session: Bianca + Josh
Lake Wenatchee State Park is one of my favorite engagement session locations near Leavenworth. Just a short drive from downtown Leavenworth, Washington, this stunning spot features gorgeous views, calm waters and lots of trees. It’s become one of my most requested locations over the years for engagement sessions. I love the variety of backdrops it offers from the open beach with mountain views to the lush trees. I knew for this session specifically we would want to spend some time on the beach as Bianca and Josh both lived together in Southern California. Not quite the same type of beach but it still worked!
About the couple
Bianca and Josh met at a Christmas party 10 years ago and their connection has only grown stronger over the years. Bianca loves Josh’s sense of humor, his honesty, and his adventurous spirit. Josh, on the other hand, admires Bianca’s passion for cooking and her love for traveling. They wanted their photos to reflect how much they have been enjoying this chapter of being engaged and everything it took to get to this day. They shared a lot of fun stories about how they met, and their early days of dating, during the session. I always love getting to hear these stories from my couples!
The weather on the day of their session could not have been better. Lake Wenatchee was bathed in golden sunlight (my favorite light to work in!). I loved how the sunlight and warmth helped create a magical atmosphere as we explored the beach. One of the highlights of our session was when Bianca and Josh toasted to their future with some champagne. This spontaneous and joyful moment added a touch of celebration to the session, making it even more memorable.
I can’t wait for their winery wedding at Milestone Vineyard Events later this summer!
