From sun-drenched vineyard views to golden hour by the Columbia River, this Cave B Winery engagement session gives me all the dreamy, romantic feels! I love that Jessika and Andrew chose this stunning location for their engagement session this summer. They wanted a jaw-dropping view (preferably near the water) where they could move around and incorporate more than one backdrop. We considered a few locations along the Columbia River, but ultimately decided on Cave B and Sagecliffe Resort because of their mutual love for wine tasting.
Cave B Winery and Sagecliffe Resort and Spa are on the same property, next to the Gorge Amphitheatre in George, Washington. I sometimes have to pinch myself. I can’t believe I’m lucky enough to live within a half hour drive of Cave B and Sagecliffe! My husband and I make it a point to make it out there at least once every month or so. One of our favorite date nights is coming out to the resort. We do wine tasting and walk the grounds before having dinner at Tendrils Restaurant. It’s also fun to stay at Sagecliffe during concert season! It’s just a short walk from the resort to the amphitheatre entrance!
Sagecliffe Resort Wedding venue:
Sagecliffe Resort is also an amazing wedding venue! I love how you get gorgeous panoramic cliff views almost everywhere you look. Plus, your guests can stay on site. The resort rooms are so cozy, but they also offer cliffside houses, yurts and modern condos. You and your guests can take in the views on short (and easy!) hikes, eat scrumptious food, enjoy cocktails by the pool and visit the spa all without leaving the property. Dream wedding venue for sure!
The great thing about taking your engagement photos at Cave B is the variety of backdrops it offers. I love how we were able to take advantage of a few key spots around the property. The line of trees at the entrance, the vineyard rows themselves and of course the open fields overlooking the cliffs… all gorgeous! I knew I had to take Jessika and Andrew around to each place!
Pro Tip: One thing I tell my couples is to treat their session like it’s date night. This means going out for drinks beforehand, or dinner after. At Cave B, you can do both and really soak in being out there. I can’t think of anything more special!
