I had such a blast shooting Anita and Dan’s Moses Lake engagement photos! The two are getting married next summer at Jamison’s Event Center in Moses Lake and decided to do an engagement session to get some great images for their save the dates and invitations and reception decor! There’s never a wrong time for taking your engagement photos, and you can get stunning photos no matter the season. However, fall is definitely a popular time to get them done. There’s something so romantic, and classic, about the falling leaves and the bright yellows, oranges and reds that appear in the trees. I even chose to do our engagement photos in the fall! It also works great if you’re getting married in one season, to get engagement photos from a different season.
I met Anita and Dan at Blue Heron Park in Moses Lake, where the trees were really starting to pop with those fall colors. I love how Anita coordinated her cardigan with the fall color palette! It’s small touches like that, that add to the overall look of your photos. We spent some time walking around the park before driving a short distance to the Moses Lake Sand Dunes.
Anita and Dan were definitely troopers! Although it was nice and sunny, the weather was definitely starting to shift from late summer/fall to early winter. In the end it turned out amazing! I mean, what better excuse to cuddle up than to stay warm! It’s an engagement session after all!
I’m so excited to celebrate Anita and Dan’s big day next summer! Keep scrolling to see some of their gorgeous Moses Lake engagement photos!
